TRAVELING WITH TRAVELLITZA

Important information

Following general travel conditions is terms of rental of villas, transfer, tours, travel planning and travel document between you as traveler and Travellitza.
Your travel is only determined by the Danish law “Danish Act on Package Tours” if your vacation significantly is specialized and prebooked with more than 25% of your total travel price is with tours or/and with the rental of cars. 

Arrangement

All travel regarding villa rental, transfer, tours and private driving (rental of car with or without driver) is in cooperation with local suppliers, villa owners, hotels/resorts and other organizations.

Booking

Booking of travels with Travellitza happens by phone or personal meeting/online meetings or by sending a mail to Travellitza. The travel is defined as booked when the required depositum from the company is paid. By paying the invoice and depositum you as the customer accept the written terms and travel conditions. This information can be found on the webpage: www.travellitza.com and documents and contracts sent from your Personal Travel Agent. The travel is binding for both Travellitza and the costumers when the deposit is paid, the contract is signed and all travel documents received. During the booking and acceptance of the travel offer, the traveler has received and accepted these general terms by making an indication in a “checkbox” in the villa agreement contract. It is important.

Travel document

After the villa rental agreement is signed and the deposit is paid, the rental agreement for the villa rental is final. That contract is also your travel document for the villa. You will also receive an invoice and that is your overview of what you have paid for and that is the other part of your travel document. Both documents are final as an order confirmation. Be aware that you will find all the details in the villa documents send to you during the booking of the villa.

If you as a traveler, after agreement with your Personal Travel Agent, have made “A package travel”, you will receive a travel document with an overview of your bookings and payments. This will be sent to you approx. 10 days before departure.

Service

Travellitza provides in the villa rental a personal concierge service with your personal travel agent before your arrival at the destination. Here we help, guide, plan and coordinate bookings and plans for your vacation for you online. Examples of  what can be provided and planned:

  • Booking of extra services (see info. further down)
  • VIP transfer
  • Car rental
  • Private tours
  • Private driver
  • Chef service in the villa
  • Excursions private or groups
  • In house massage
  • Fixing of nails, hair, and makeup

You have the option to book with your villa your own personal travel agent in the destination and at the villa. A Personal Travel Agent is defined as an agent that you as a traveler have at your service physical during your vacation to help, coordinate, welcome you at the destination,  be your personal guide on private tours (some tours her staff) and guest relation service during your stay at the destination and at the villa offered from Travellitza. Whenever you need help with

Guest relation service is defined as:

  • Grocery shopping + 25% extra charge
  • Dry cleaning + 25% extra charge
  • Your Personal Travel Agent can be on request also guide some of the tours, a customized private tour.
  • Customer Service and guidance are regarding all questions and demands
  • Booking of extra services (see info. further down)
  • Always available 24-7 online and physical to come to the villa or meet you whenever you need it.

This is the Guest Relation service you have when you have booked a Personal Travel Agent. It is important for us at Travellitza that you always can contact your Personal Travel Agent who planned your travel. Therefore it will be the same person you speak with at booking as upon arrival and at the destinations. Every personal travel agent will also have an assistant and if your personal travel agent is occupied the assistant will assist and help.

Due to Covid-19, we have our villa managers in the destination who is working as your personal villa manager there will be there to help you and assist you. Your personal travel agent that you booked your travel with can only be available online during your vacation.

Private tours and experiences are defined as a tour there is private for you and your family. We have created some private tours already, as an inspiration which we know are must-see, authentic experience and great quality.

We also build customized tours and these are always private. For providing the best service, it is important to communicate with your personal travel agent what your wishes and demands are and from there build your private tour.

It is very important for Travellitza and our service and quality that our cars and minivans for transfer, private tours and booking of private drivers and quality a high standard of vehicles. It can be many different vehicles, but we make sure that it is a great experience.

Ekstra services

At every destination, Travellitza can provide a variety of different services. This service is listed on the webpage www.travellitza.com. If the guest wish other things there is not listed, Travellitza will speak with suppliers and find the best possible solution for your demands. It is important for us in Travellitza that we can be sure that the service of our suppliers is good and therefore we wish to speak with you before arriving at the destination. To know exactly what you have in mind of extra services so they fit your wishes and demands. Ekstra services are not included in the price. The final offer and payment of extra services will be represented by your personal travel agent at the destination upon arrival. Booking and payment will therefore be paid on the destination to your Personal Travel Agent. Ekstra services are always an extra cost including local taxes.

Price

The total price for the booking through Travellitza is often: rental price and administration. The administration fee covers administration, exchange and currency risk, business insurance and taxes. The prices for this always depending on the offer there has been made exclusive to you and your travel. Prices for children for the tours are given by a personal travel agent and are not written here on the website. This can be found also in a travel document if you have booked “a travel package” according to Danish law.

Be aware that most destinations ask for a local tourist tax upon arrival. This is local law and therefore not something Travellitza can charge you as a guest before arrival at the destination. The law and price can vary.

The prices never and do NOT include flights.

Your personal travel agent can help you find some of the best routes, but you as a guest and consumer will book your flight as a private person. Our staff has a lot of knowledge about booking flight tickets, so we can always help with guidance. We at Travellitza and its employees can not be held responsible if something happens with the flight ticket, the booking of flight tickets,s or cancellations of flight tickets. Here you always have to go directly to the airlines. Travellitza only gives guidance and not consulting.

Deposit

When you make your reservation with one of our personal travel agents you will receive an invoice. From the invoice, you have to pay a deposit which is 50 % of the rental price + administration fee. You will see the specific numbers on the invoice. We do this to reserve and booking the villa for your vacation at demanded dates. The administration fee will not be refundable. See the refund rules under the cancellation policy.

Be aware of there can be some villas that have a different policy for payment, deposit and cancellation. This information you will get from your personal travel agent and will also be informed in the villa rental contract.

Payments

For the remaining 50% of the total price of the travel, you will have until 60 days before your arrival date to do the payment. We will send a reminder fee if the payment is not received at the latest 60 days before the arrival date. If the booking is made shorter than 60 days before traveling, your Personal Travel Agent will make another agreement with you.

Cancellation policy

If you wish as a traveler to cancel your reservation and booking the following flexible rules apply: This cancellation policy is now adjusted because of Covid-19. It will be changed when the world is not dominated by Covid-19. We retain therefore the right to change the rules of cancellation without further notice.

  • 100 % refund of the rental price if canceled at least 30 days before the arrival date.
  • 50 % refund if canceled at least 14 days before the arrival date.
  • 0% refund if cancellation is less than 14 days before arrival date or if a guest is a “no show” for their reserved and confirmed travel and/or services will non be refunded.

Be aware that some villas in some destinations don’t offer the same cancellation policy and therefore another rule can apply. It is subject to change without further notice. If you already have a booking you will always be contacted by your Personal Travel Agent.

If you’re canceling your reservation due to e.g. illness, death, etc. we may be able to change your dates and honor your payments. Please note, however, that we don’t guarantee that this will be possible.

Travellitza and suppliers will be liable for any failure to fulfill obligations to the extent affected by a Force Majeure Event (acts of God) and global & regional pandemics which, in relation to Travellitza, includes any obligations relating to the guests, commitments and/or any other similar guarantees. Each party will in any event use reasonable endeavors to avoid or mitigate the effect of a Force Majeure. An event so as to recommence the performance of their obligations as soon as reasonably possible. In the destinations, we can in cooperation with the employees help with guidance.

Changing the policy of the booking

If you wish to make any change for the villa rental it is only possible before the payment of the deposit. If you wish to change the booking of other extra services, your personal travel agent will speak with suppliers and try to change it.

Check-in/ check out

The information for each villa will be in writing in your villa rental contract that you signed when you book your villa stay.

Timely appearance

Since Travellitza doesn’t sell flight tickets. Travelers are responsible for arriving at the destination in time for their bookings. Always follow the information from your flight company and make sure to be ajour with changes from the flight company and be always on time.

Your travel responsibility

When you travel out of your country and book a reservation with us you are responsible for the following:

Passport – Your passport must be valid with a minimum of six-month validity including the end of your travel date. You are also as a traveler responsible for that the names and information in your passport are correct and fit the information and written in all travel documents also your privately booked flight tickets.

Visa – If you travel to the Caribbean you are also responsible for tourist visas. You can check out these websites for further information www.um.dk and www.ssi.dk. Be aware that a transit visa also can be required.

Vaccination – proof of vaccinations is required.

Travel insurance – everyone who is traveling must have travel insurance. It will be your responsibility if something happens to you during your travel and you don’t have travel insurance to cover.  Travellitza will therefore not be held responsible for any expenses. Lost items, damaged baggage, or damaged items in the villa are the guest’s responsibility.

You are always more than welcome to ask your personal travel agent for how to do and guidance, but it is your responsibility as a traveler.

Defects and complaints

If you as a traveler see or experience some defects or have complaints before or at the destination you must immediately inform your personal travel agent who will be the representative at the destination. The same goes for complaints to other suppliers.

If the personal travel agent or supplier can not see or do not agree with the defects or complaints and in the traveler points of view is not fixed satisfactorily, the traveler must complain directly to the Travellitza company at home after the travel.

If the tour operator and personal travel agent offer to remedy the defect, the traveler cannot demand a proportionate deduction or cancellation of the agreement. We recommend always speaking with your travel agent at the destination and we are sure that we can find a solution.

Changing prices

We Travellitza reserves the right to change prices after the signed and booked agreement. Price increases all over the world can occur due to changes in exchange rates, transportation costs, including fuel prices, taxes, fees, or charges for certain services. A price increase must be notified and communicated to you as a traveler as soon as possible and no later than 20 days before your departure and must not be more than 8% of your price of the travel. 

Danish Travel Guarantee Fund

Villa rentals and a private travel agent is not a travel package. Travellitza can therefore not be held responsible for the law of package travel act.

In that case, Travellitza’s responsibility is in accordance with the Package Travel Act responsible for carrying out and deliver the travel in accordance with the booked programming/price list. We assume no responsibility for agreements or promises you as a traveler has made with any other travel agency or tour operator (also at the destination). We don’t take responsibility for changes, delays, etc. and also consequences of a breach of contract, non-contractual strikes, weather. Here we also refer to Force Major.

Law 

Any claims against Travellitza will be decided in accordance with Danish law. Complaints or lawsuits that cannot be decided by the Travel Appeals Board must be decided by the Maritime and Commercial Court in Denmark. Due to the actual villa rental, complaints to the villa are decided by the law of that country the villa is placed in. 

In general for this website: ALL INFORMATION ON THIS WEBSITE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
