What is personal data?
Personal data consists of any and every piece of information that can identify or lead to a physical person who is alive. Personal data can therefore be explained as information and/or data that can reveal a person’s identity, i.e. name, address, phone number, social security, etc.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
Travellitza is the owner of the information collected and the data handler on this website and in the company. Travel agency Travellitza is the only one handling the information to and/or collects information that you voluntarily give us via email, other direct contacts from you, or through the newsletter community. Travellitza agency partners have access to the contract of the villa rental agreement, signed the by customer.
Information collection
We request information from you in our order form, to be part of the newsletter community for news from Travellitza travel agency and contracts for rentals of the villa, special hotels, travel insurance, and tours.
When you buy from Travellitza you must provide contact- and financial information like:
- Name
- Phone number
- Special preference (if you have food allergies, special assistance if needed in case of handicap or sickness, etc.)
- Bank information (reg. no. & account no. in the villa rental contract)
- Credit card number and expiration date (for the check-in at the Villa by physic form giving by Villa Manager and Personal travel agent)
Information use and purpose
The purpose of Travellitza and the legal basis for processing personal data is Data Protection Regulation article 6 Stk. 1 lira b and litra f.
This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you. Failure to disclose personal information on your part may mean that Travellitza will be unable to fulfill its obligations in relation to your customer relationship and your stay.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about offers, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
Information share
In the agency, we will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than what is necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to make reservations for you for the rental villa, tours, etc. The information of the third person will be written in the villa contract. Either it is the owner of the villa or an administration company. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
It is important for our business, reputation and safety that we collect sudden privacy data as customer administration as part of the operation of our travel agency. The same goes for the partners and villa owners. Due to the customer’s administration, we collect, handle and share the necessary information for billing, travel insurance, marketing and statistics. When we work with statistics and analysis, all information is anonymous and does not include personal information that can lead to you as a person.
International transfer of your personal data
The law of data protection legislation varies from country to country. Here we mean countries outside EU/EES. In order to provide the travel, you as a customer wish, we have to share some information with our partners. Some of our destinations are outside EU/ EES and that means that the data protection law in that country and for the partner can differ from Danish law. We check how the shared information will be stored and from our site, we will explain how we like it to be and our third part is a very great cooperator.

Your access – control over information
You can always contact us by contacting us via the following email address or phone number (also available on WhatsApp) at any time. Contact information is provided on the Travellitza website.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Whenever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. It is only used in the check-in form and contract the day of arrival to the Villa.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE DATA AFTER?
Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. We store the information for five years. After these, we ask If you as a client want us to keep the information.
